- The Salon - Tek software program is data based, written in
- Clipper for a DOS environment, and designed to streamline reception
- and appointment making functions, automate most of the bookkeeping

- 1. EASY APPOINTMENT MAKING
- The Appointment making function is unique.
- This feature allows an appointment to be made in seconds,
- and allows the Receptionist to have more time for client
- interaction. Automatic renewal and delation of standing
- appointments.

- months, and then renewed automatically, to save disk space)

- 2. CLIENT FILE.
- Client Information includes :
- Name - Address - Phone No - Standing appointment
- Drivers Licence - Credit Card - Credit Status ( If 'N' is
- entered here, a warning will be flashed if she makes an
- appointment,or pays.) Birthday (with labels)
- If she is a Return, New, Recommended, or Return Transfer.
- Record of all Information for Technical Work(Chemical) Tints
- - Perms -High/Lights - Date of Service - Cost - What
- product was used - Comments.
- ( Likes and Dislikes) - Which employees services her.
- A record of all Sales and Services for each client, with
- Total Amount spent at the salon, Date, Service/Employee,
- Product, Cost. This can be used for promotion - When a
- client reaches a predetermined amount, a
- 'Y' will automatically show on her client file, making her a
- member of your `Hair Club'. Labels for all Club members can
- be printed out. During quite times all Club members can have
- special discounts.

- Employee information :
- Name - Address - Phone No - Social Security No -
- When vacation dates are entered will not allow appointments
- to be booked between those dates.
- Special Level Field - Enter at which level your Employee
- charges are calculated - This will automatically appear on
- the Accounting Screen.
- Wages information.
- Mailing labels of Each Employee's cliental - to aid in case
- of employee turnover.
- EMPLOYEE STATISTICS - Will show employee average service
- charge, sales,
- percentage of return clients, new clients, recommended
- clients - average daily/weekly takings, etc. Also for Month

- DAILY BALANCE of Sales and Services - Credit Cards -
- Cheques Cash. Balance for Banking. Will tell you if your
- calculations at end of day are correct, or if you have made
- a mistake, and how much you should have ready for banking.
- Each Receptionist will have a separate cash out screen for
- her cash drawer which can be combined for total Salon Cash
